A man named Bareilal Adivasi from Bijrawan village in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh has filed a strange complaint with the local police against his wife Mithilesh. He alleged that her refusal to observe the 'Karva Chauth' fast for him was a conspiracy to kill him. He also stated in the complaint that he had threatened to divorce her if she did not fast. The police, surprised by this strange complaint, took steps to counsel both the husband and wife as it was a family issue.
