TG: A horrific incident took place in Hanumakonda. Kedari and Pushpalatha, a couple who had donated food during the Telangana movement, committed suicide after being insulted by their landlord after being unable to pay the rent. Due to financial difficulties, the hotel was locked and the couple poured petrol on themselves and set themselves on fire after being severely abused. Husband Kedari died on the spot, while wife Pushpalatha passed away while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Based on the complaint of the deceased's son, the police registered a case against the shop owner and his son.
