Leading ICICI Bank has taken a key decision by increasing cash transaction charges on its savings account holders. These new rules will come into effect from December 1, 2026. The charge has been increased from Rs 3.50 to Rs 4 per Rs 1,000 on transactions made through bank branches and cash recycler machines. This increase is applicable only to those who have exceeded the free cash limit of Rs 1 lakh per month. The bank has reportedly taken this decision with the aim of promoting digital transactions.
