Renowned para-athlete Neeraj Yadav, who won three gold medals at the Asian Games, committed suicide in his flat on Tuesday night. It is suspected that he may have suffered from severe mental distress due to the suspension imposed in the wake of doping allegations. The death of 42-year-old Neeraj Yadav was confirmed by Indian Para Athletics Chief Coach S Satyanarayana. A post-mortem was conducted at Delhi's GTB Hospital, while the police are investigating the incident.
