Air pollution effect..Grap Stage-1 implemented in Delhi
As air pollution in Delhi increased, the Central Air Quality Management Authority (CAQM) has imposed GRAP-1 restrictions for the first time this season. The AQI, which was 179 on October 20, reached 244 on Wednesday afternoon. Officials expect the pollution to remain high in the coming days. As part of these restrictions, the use of coal and firewood has been banned in hotels and restaurants. Diesel generators have been allowed to be used only in emergencies.
