The incident took place at the Shyamji Pant Primary Health Center in Talegaon, Wardha district of Maharashtra. The accused, Qadir Ali Razak Ali, who was brought by five policemen for a medical examination, attacked and slapped Dr. Shraddha Bhumre, who was on duty, in the presence of the police. The doctors expressed their anger over the incident and stopped OPD services, demanding security in the hospitals. The scenes related to the incident were recorded on CCTV.
