The fall in gold prices on the eve of Dussehra festival has given some relief to consumers. In cities like Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 870 on Tuesday to Rs. 1,47,170. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold fell by Rs. 800 to Rs. 1,34,900. On the other hand, the price of a kilo of silver remained stable at Rs. 2,40,000.
