Central Railway has taken a key decision. It has issued orders banning the sale of cooked food items, tea and coffee in grocery kiosks at stations. The main purpose of this is to curb unauthorized sales and increase hygiene. From now on, only essential commodities, packaged food and personal care products will be allowed. All shops at stations should follow FSSAI norms and dustbins should be installed at the shops, Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. Swapnil Neela clarified.
