Dow, in collaboration with the dairy brand Shiny Meadow, has successfully built a road using recycled asphalt mixed with more than 6,000 plastic milk bottles on the campus of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in China. Experts say that the roads built using this method are not only highly durable, but also reduce energy consumption and help prevent greenhouse gas emissions. This technology, which helps eliminate plastic waste, is also being promoted in cities like Pune and Bangalore in India.
