
Tewolde Gebremariam appointed as Air India CEO
Former Ethiopian Airlines chief Tewolde Gebremariam has been appointed as the new CEO and MD of Air India. Air India announced this on Wednesday. Gebremariam, who will take over from Campbell Wilson, aims to overcome financial losses and expand internationally and turn the company into a profitable one. Gebremariam has a long experience in the past, having built Ethiopian Airlines into the largest and most profitable airline in Africa.
