The government has taken a key decision to provide relief to the people in the face of intense heat in the national capital Delhi. Solar huts will be set up as a pilot project in Shalimar Bagh. Apart from providing coolness, these huts will also provide shade, seating, cold water and phone charging facilities. These solar-powered huts are under construction and will be available in two to three days. CM Rekha Gupta will inaugurate them. If this experiment is successful, the government plans to set up cooling zones across Delhi.
