Gas shortage.. The price of a cylinder in the black market is Rs. 1,500!
Due to the war in West Asia, there was a shortage of gas in India. This increased the demand for LPG cylinders. In some places, the price of a cylinder in the black market reached Rs. 1,500. In the wake of the war, the price of a domestic cylinder increased by Rs. 60 on the 7th of this month, and people are panicking and buying cylinders in advance. Due to this, huge queues are seen in front of gas agencies. To curb this situation, the Center has brought a 25-day rule for cylinder booking.
