On August 30, a land dispute erupted between the two sons at Indapur (Tarangwadi) in Maharashtra. The two sons, Sanjay and Rajendra, were furious that the land in their mother's name had been sold and severely beat 65-year-old Tukaram and his wife Anjana with sticks. The video of the incident went viral on social media. Based on information from locals, the police rushed to the spot, registered a case against the two sons and are investigating.
