In Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district, a wife, Draupadi Bai, brutally attacked her husband Rajesh Kaushik on suspicion of having an extramarital affair. She attacked her sleeping husband with a machete and cut his private parts. Rajesh, who was seriously injured, was rushed to a government hospital in critical condition. The police, in their preliminary investigation, found that family disputes and suspicion over her husband's behavior were the reasons for the attack. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
