A six-month pregnant woman was brutally murdered by her in-laws in Pudukottai district of Tamil Nadu after she revealed their extramarital affair. Sandhya (21) had told her husband about the affairs of her in-laws Meena and Porkodila, and they had a falling out. While her husband was away, Sandhya was sleeping when she was strangled with a knife and suffocated with a pillow. Although the accused pretended that she had choked on bread while eating it, the police, after investigating the complaint of her parents, arrested the accused.
