Balayya's assurance to a child suffering from a rare disease!
Nandamuri Balakrishna has responded to the needs of two-and-a-half-year-old Keyansh Advik, a child suffering from a rare form of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2 in his constituency Hindupur. The child needs an injection of AVXS-101 worth Rs. 16 crore, which is not available in India. Balakrishna assured the family that he would stand by them. Along with government assistance, he appealed to donors to come forward, saying that even a single rupee would help save the child's life. Balayya's initiative has led to a campaign on social media for help.
