AP: The state government has taken a crucial step towards fulfilling the long-cherished dream of the people of the united East and West Godavari districts. It has expedited the land acquisition process required for the construction of the proposed broad gauge railway line between Kotipalli-Narasapuram. It has issued a GO releasing Rs. 100 crore under the state government's share. Meanwhile, this project, which started about 25 years ago, will bear 25 percent of the total construction cost.
