Massive protests erupted at Jantar Mantar in the national capital Delhi after Neha Bora called for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Youth and general public reached Jantar Mantar in large numbers, defying the restrictions imposed by the police. While the police stopped and arrested the youth, general public freed them by blocking vehicles. This led to extreme tension in Delhi.
