
Antaralaya darshan at Kondagattu temple cancelled
The Antaralaya Darshan at Kondagattu Sri Anjaneyaswamy Temple on August 20 and 21 has been cancelled. The temple authorities said that this decision was taken due to the repair work of the sanctum sanctorum. Devotees have been requested to cooperate. Kondagattu temple is located on the outskirts of Muthyampet village. Here, Lord Hanuman is seen with two faces (Narasimha Swamy and Anjaneya). The idols of Sita and Rama on the chest and Abhishekam with water from the Seethamma well are the specialties here. There are also Dharmagundam, Betala Swamy temple and a Shivalinga in a cave in the temple premises. Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated twice a year.
