
Plane crash... Bundles of banknotes scattered (Video)
A military Hercules cargo plane crashed in the city of El Alto, near the Bolivian capital La Paz, on Friday night (February 27). At least 15 people were killed in the fatal crash. The plane, which was carrying new currency notes from the central bank, crashed, scattering bundles of notes on the road. Police used batons to try to rescue people who tried to get their hands on the money as rescue operations were underway. Authorities have launched an investigation into the crash.
