A plane flying from Kalaburgi to Belagavi in Karnataka crashed in a farmland in Vijayapura. Captain Kunal Malhotra and pilot Gautam Shankar, who were travelling in the plane, were seriously injured in the accident. They were immediately rushed to the hospital. The crashed plane has been identified as a Red Bird Aviation aircraft. Full details regarding the incident are awaited.
