The nomination process for the Nobel Peace Prize 2026, considered the highest award in the world, has ended. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has officially confirmed that a total of 287 candidates have been nominated for this year's prestigious award. This includes 208 individuals and 79 organizations. There are reports that US President Donald Trump's name is also on the list. Top leaders from Israel, Pakistan, and Cambodia have publicly announced that they have nominated Trump's name. However, according to the Nobel Committee's rules, the names of those nominated are not officially revealed for 50 years.
