
Rains in AP for five days: Meteorological Department
The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in the coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions of AP for five days. Officials said that these unseasonal rains will occur due to the influence of surface troughs and circulations. Thunderstorms and lightning are likely to occur in the northern and southern parts of coastal Andhra. They warned that there is a risk of gusty winds and lightning at a speed of 30-50 kilometers per hour. They said that there may be heavy rain in Srikakulam, Manyam, Anakapalle, Kakinada, Alluri Seetharamaraju and coastal Andhra districts.
