As part of the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations, a 24-carat gold-plated idol of Lord Ganesha, decorated with over 3.8 lakh American diamonds, was installed in the Feel Khana area of Begambazar. This idol, made of five metals, is a special attraction with its 24-carat gold plating on a brass base. There are Dashavatars on the back and Tirupati Balaji designs on the top. This idol, weighing about 48 kg, was crafted by eight artisans over a period of 8 months. After 11 days of worship, a clay Ganesha idol is immersed instead of this idol.
