TG: In Hyderabad's Rajendranagar area, a 14-year-old boy named Prashant, who was upset after his parents reprimanded him to focus on his studies, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at home on Monday night. Prashant, the son of Mohan and Jyoti, residents of Budvel Bansilal Nagar, is studying in class 8. The police have shifted the body of the boy, who died before being taken to the hospital, to Osmania Hospital for postmortem and a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
