Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy inaugurated the Apji House in Kondapur, Hyderabad on Friday. The centre will have facilities like AC seating, toilets, food and mobile charging from 6 am to 11 pm. A survey conducted on 4,163 gig workers revealed that 90 percent of them use roadside or public toilets, while only 5 percent get the facility from companies. It is against this backdrop that Apji House was set up.
