
No toll fees in the Strait of Hormuz: Oman
Gulf state Oman has clarified that it has no plans to charge tolls on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Oman has opposed Iran's proposal to charge tolls. The toll is one of Iran's 10 demands in the wake of the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States. Oman's Minister of Transport Saeed bin Hamud bin Saeed Al assured that Oman is committed to maintaining free and safe navigation in the strait, which is crucial for oil transport.
