Iran's parliament has approved a proposal to impose charges on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. In addition to imposing a ban on US and Israeli ships, this will also apply to ships from other sanctioned countries. However, it is yet to be clarified how much will have to be paid and whether Indian ships are on this list. Recently, the central government said that Iran will not impose any charges on Indian ships.
