The BRS party has supported the Amaravati legalization bill in the Rajya Sabha. MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra said that his party was never against Amaravati and that former Telangana CM KCR himself went and participated in the foundation stone laying of the capital. He hoped that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would develop together. He also urged the Center to grant national status to an irrigation project in Telangana.
